Paintings

I had originally planned for the bird painting to be for the explosion collage, but I experimented with painting on the fabric and it was very unsuccessful. I noticed that the colour scheme was similar to the sunflower in my other collage, so adapted it to be an extension of that one instead. I liked the contrast between the fabric and the oil and I would definitely want to expand on this idea, maybe by making the bird bigger or putting more detail into the branch. I could also have the bird singing to fit with the theme of 'noise' better.
